Images, videos, face detection and exports are processed on your device. Deface does not upload your media.

Local storage

The application caches its code and face-detection model for offline use. Your theme preference is saved in this browser. Imported media and editing history are not saved by the application.

Hosting

Your browser requests application assets from the host. The host or reverse proxy may keep normal access logs. No analytics or third-party runtime services are included.

Exports

Audio is kept by default. Optional voice disguise estimates and alters speech on your device. Separation can affect other sounds and does not guarantee anonymity. Review the exported file before sharing.
